The Parish Plan completed in 2005 identified a need for much greater social interaction and community events in the Village. As a result, a voluntary group - the Bruisyard Social Amenities Committee (BSAC) - was formed in late 2005 to organise social/fun events in the Village which would aim to foster social inclusion by all members of the community. BSAC is an independent 'not for profit' Unincorporated Association with all proceeds going to improve the provision of social amenities for the benefit of all inhabitants in Bruisyard and the surrounding area.
